PORSCHE 935/78

The Martini Racing Porsche 935/78 “Moby Dick” driven by Rolf Stommelen and Manfred Schurti at the 1978 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 935/78 was the final version of the extremely successful 935 – it was developed specifically for the 24 hours of Le Mans, and raced only a partial season. The 935/78 won its debut race at Silverstone, but had a disappointing finish at Le Mans – it suffered mechanical issues during the race and finished in 8th place.
