SAUBER MERCEDES C9

The race winning Sauber Mercedes C9 driven by Jochen Mass, Manuel Reuter, and Stanley Dickens at the 1989 24 Hours of Le Mans. 1989 was Mercedes-Benz’ first win at Le Mans since 1952 – Mercedes had recently returned to racing at Le Mans after a long absence due to the terrible accident at the 1955 race. The C9 finished in first and second place at Le Mans, and was the outstanding car of the 1989 season, winning all but 1 race.
