The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL driven by Americans John Fitch and Kurt Gesell at the 1955 Mille Miglia. Fitch and Gesell won the GT class, and finished in 5th place overall. The outright winner of the race was a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR driven by Stirling Moss and navigator Denis Jenkinson.
